Our speaker is Patrick Klein, Director of Aviation, Kansas City Aviation Department. 

Mr. Klein will discuss such topics as the decision process on the need for a new airport. The status of the contract, the construction and the future completion of the airport. 

Patrick Klein became Director of Aviation for the Kansas City Aviation Department June 1, 2016. In this role Klein oversees all aspects of the management, development, operation and maintenance of Kansas City International Airport and Charles B. Wheeler Downtown Airport. Klein is responsible for 550 employees and annual revenues of over $100 million. 

Klein has worked for the City of Kansas City, Missouri, for nearly 20 years, serving in a variety of management roles.  Since 2013 Klein has worked with groups which have been studying future options for terminal modernization. This includes the mayor’s Airport Terminal Advisory Group, and the Airport Leadership Committee. Klein is familiar with all aspects of the airport’s operation and has worked extensively with Aviation Department staff.

Klein earned his bachelor’s degree from K-State and a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Oklahoma.



This is also our annual Harvesters food drive. Your financial donation helps feed hungry people today and works to end hunger tomorrow. For every dollar you donate, Harvesters is is able to provide three meals to hungry families, children and seniors in our community.

Please give what you can and make this the most memorable year KCITE and you can provide to those in need. As KCITE members our task is to better the Kansas City area, Please donate what you can so we can all experiance a a better Kansas City.

The Available Products list is on the same page as your Member or Non-Member meeting Fee checkbox.  Donations in the list are in amounts of $10.00, $15.00, $20.00, $30.00 or you can always donate at the meeting in any amount, just let us know, we will not refuse any donation. 

Every penny donated goes to Harvesters, KCITE will not benefit in any way from your donation.
